Edward VII's Canadian Army , 1901 to 1910
This CD contains over ?? illustrations of uniforms worn by the military corps and units of the Canadian Army during the reign of Edward VII. It includes limited information on cadets. The illustrations are complemented with brief descriptive texts supplemented with contemporary photographs or items where available. All plates are full page illustrations, as shown at the 'example page' below.
The CD includes copies of Appendix XII of the Regulations and Orders of the Militia of Canada, 1898 (dealing with uniforms) and the Dress Regulations of 1907. Also included are as many amendments to these regulations as I could find. Additionally there is a brief history of the Army in this period and also for each unit. There are the Militia regulations of 1904 and 1910, establishment and location information, and some information on the weapons used at this time. I have tried to find badges for all units but have not been completely successful.
A complete list of illustrations is shown at the bottom of the page. Cost $24.00
